Dr Moni is the Chairman of Malabar Hospitals and one of the leading Urologist & Transplant Surgeon in Kerala.  He has profound knowledge of performing robust diagnoses and treating patients suffering from urinary tract problems and diseases and has performed over 500 transplant surgeries

He is a graduate of Trivandrum Medical College and has given 44 years to the field of urology. After completing a diploma course in NB Urology from the National Board of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, Dr.V.N Moni received specialized training in Renal Transplantation from Mahavir Hospital, Hyderabad & Christian Medical College, Vellore; Kidney Transplantation from the Pandalai Cardio-Thoracic Foundation; Percutaneous Renal Surgery from Maharashtra Kidney Foundation, Pune; and Laparoscopic training from Venkatesh Hospital, Coimbatore. In almost 4 and a half decades of his career, a few of the most inspiring achievements Dr Moni has had, includes the Best Paper in Techniques and Innovations; an article in the Journal of Urology titled "Moni's Window Operation” and being the Organizing Secretary UROLAPCON 2007 as well as the Organizing Secretary of the Annual Conference of Urological Society India, Kozhikode.
